
The eighth child of JACOB SCHMIDT and KATHARINA KROEN is ELISE, 

the only daughter who grew to adulthood. She married JOHANN BOEHM

and had three children, ELISABETH, BERTHA, and KARL.



Johann came to Springfield and Dayton in Ohio, in 1913. His wife,

Elise, could not leave their house and vineyards in Limbach. Some

of his family still lives in Dayton.



He returned to Czechoslovakia on May 14,1920.
